LOOMIS HELPS TEXAS DQ® LAUNCH THE JAMMIN’ BACON HUNGR-BUSTER®
WITH RESULTS THAT ROCK.
The LOOMIS Agency, a multi award-winning advertising agency, partnered with long-time client Texas DQ® to promote the launch of its new, limited-time Jammin’ Bacon Hungr-Buster®, with a unique flavor profile that captured huge attention.
While the Hungr-Buster® has long been an iconic burger for Texas DQ®, this new iteration—featuring bacon jam, bacon, pepper jack cheese, onion rings and jalapeño ranch—stood out in consumer taste-tests as a favorite. So LOOMIS set out to bring the meaning of “Jammin’” to life with an integrated marketing campaign showing how this new burger truly rocks the tastebuds of all Texans.

With a goal of driving burger trial, increasing foot traffic, and boosting sales, the campaign included TV and radio spots broadcasted across the state, in-store merchandising, digital creative, influencer partnerships, and a social media giveaway designed to amplify online conversations about the product.
The promotion helped restaurants across the state reverse traffic and sales declines, while increasing new guest rates by 17.5%. And new guests who tried the new burger returned at a higher frequency. What’s more, the Jammin’ Bacon Hungr-Buster® produced one of the highest check average increases of the entire year, and the Rate of Sale on burgers increased 11.3% compared to the previous 8 weeks.
